One story.
Endless possibilities.
Open Film is where the community creates AI-powered stories together, one chapter at a time. Write the next scene, turn it into an AI video, vote for your favorite continuation, and help decide where the story goes.
Every round, the community creates several possible futures for a story. Only one is chosen. That branch becomes canon — and the rest remain visible as everything the story could have been.
How Open Film works
Every story moves through the same seven-step cycle, round after round, until the community carries it all the way to a finished film.
Story begins
Someone publishes an opening scene, a character, a world, or just an idea worth continuing.
Community creates
Members imagine what happens next and write their own version of the following chapter.
AI generates
Creators turn their idea into a short AI-generated video using the tool of their choice.
Community votes
Everyone watches the possible directions side by side and votes for the one that should happen.
Winner continues
The submission with the most votes becomes the official next chapter of the story.
Next round
A new round opens on top of the winning chapter, and the cycle begins again.
Final film
Every winning chapter, strung together in order, becomes a complete community-made film.
